I cover many different photographic themes, however capturing that special picture of a person who claims they never take good pictures is both a challenge and a reward all rolled into one. I love it when a person views the finished image and that smile slowly spreads across their face. A smile, like a picture, is worth a thousand words.
I was once asked "What do you specialize in?" My answer? Everything. I tend to photograph any- and everything that catches my eye and interest. If I had to choose, I would easily say people simply because people can be turned, twisted and shaped into all manner of different looks.
Photography isn't just a hobby or profession, photography is Life. Even without a camera in hand, I tend to "see" the world through my virtual, ever present, lense. And sometimes, the picture calls so loudly that I am prompted to stop and take the shot, quickly and purely and without much thought or planning, praying that it looks even half as wonderful as it did in my mind's eye. And usually, it does, and more.
